Had brunch at the Paris. It was gooood. Dragged the kids along the strip from MGM all the way to the Venetian in this heat. (114) Tried to get relief by popping in and out of hotel lobbies along the way. The heat here is surreal. You do get used to it, by that I mean when it gets to 100 degrees you think it’s ‘pleasant’. Took a taxi back to our hotel (I showed some mercy).

We all went to the pool (did I mention it was great?) and swam until it closed at 7PM (7PM! - go figure).

Got pizza for the kids and Bob and I went out to dinner and slots for the evening and the kids stayed in the room. We didn’t win anything but only lost $14. Oh yeah, paid $5 to have a Jester at the Excalibur guess my weight, if he guesses wrong by over 3 pounds I get to pick a stuffed animal. Well, he was waaaaay off. No one believes that I am as heavy as I am (except for maybe my mom – hee hee) Of course I had to weigh myself in front of a bunch of strangers and I made sure they all knew that I had gained weight on this trip and of course I just ate. I won’t tell you what I weighed but the Jester missed it by about 45 lbs. (in my favour). Since he was so lousy at guessing, I thought I would pay another 5 bucks to have him guess my age. He only missed by 3 years (he had to be within 2) so I won another stuffed animal, one for each of the kids. Of course, he guessed that I was younger than I was and I’m sure if he hadn’t of used Bob as an indicator he would have guessed me as much, much younger. Hahahahahahah!!!!!
